Start with the effect you need, then compare mana cost and tier. A higher tier is not always the right choice for a small, repeated task, especially if it leaves too little mana for other tasks.
No tiers means the spell has no numbered Tier I variant. This table covers base spells; Tier II and Tier III versions are not included.
